What is Patient Access?

With Patient Access, you can now view, book and cancel appointments from home, work or on the move – wherever you can connect to the internet. What’s more, because Patient Access is a 24 hour online service – you can do this in your own time, day or night. Please note if you are unable to make an online booking it might be because all online slots have already been booked Or the GP you are trying to book with is not available on the day. Please call the surgery to check availability.

Plus, Patient Access is not just for booking GP appointments, you can also:

•Order repeat prescriptions

•Change your address details

•Send secure messages to your practice

•View medical record details online

 

How do I register?

Ask reception to provide you with an access code.

Is my information secure?

All information that is sent to your surgery via EMIS Access is secure. Your personal details are encrypted and protected using the highest standard internet security, so it cannot be intercepted. Only you and your GP surgery are able to see this information

DID YOU KNOW?

When your child reaches the age of 13, they have the right, if competency has been established, to register for their own online services. They will be able to view, book and cancel their own appointments and have access online to order repeat prescriptions and view their medical record details online. To enable your child to have these facilities they need to register for online services. We will need some form of identification, such as a passport or passport photo, which the named GP can endorse as a true likeness of the applicant. Please inquire from reception.
